This "frank and sincere" Lambrusco is dedicated to Virgil, the famous Roman poet of 70 BC, born right in the Mantuan countryside and who first documented its production.
A wine that has its strengths in simplicity and in easy drinking; in practice it opens and ends in an instant, so much is the pleasantness on the palate. It has a beautiful ruby red color tending to garnet, with a beautiful pinkish and never aggressive foam and with vinous aromas reminiscent of violets and currants.
Certainly a wine that the Mantuan people manage to combine with many products, meats and cheeses, cotechini and salami, without forgetting their classic pumpkin tortelli...
