From two hectares in 1950 , Henri Bourgeois and her children have costitruito a property of 65 hectares , judiciously distributed among the best exhibitions of Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé . Careful selection in the vineyard , the use of gravity ' for all stages of wine production , together with attentive care necessary for the maturation " sur lie " ( on the yeast ) , ensure great quality' wines of Henri Bourgeois .
Each wine product also reflects the great differences that are found in the various soils of the area , giving the wines a strong typicality ' tied to the land as well as the grape variety.
