Excellent sauternes that has a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose is very expressive and complex, there are aromas of citrus (candied orange, lime) and exotic fruits (mango, pineapple) with notes of white peach and apricot. On the palate it has a large scale with aromas of candied orange and spices (cinnamon, star anise).

The long and delicate finish with a harsh note gives it a pleasant tension. Good overall balance for this wine which is at the same time lively and delicate. Often called "modern Sauternes", Château Fontaine promotes freshness and harmony. With a lower concentration than some of its peers, it can even be a "casual" aperitif or accompany a first course thanks to its beautiful freshness.
