The HAZEL PIEDMONT IGP is one of the highest quality products offered by the Piedmont.

After the shelling and the first sorting is passed to the roasting of hazelnuts in special ovens; this step, in addition to removing the skin of hazelnuts, it naturally increases the shelf life, going to eliminate the little water naturally present in the product. Moreover the roasting is a critical step to enhance flavors and unique aromas. After a further manual selection Hazelnuts are immediately vacuum packed to retain flavor and fragrance.
