Austere, noble, refined wine, obtained from 100% Malbec grapes matured on vines over 120 years old and produced only in the best vintages.
If we think that a maximum of 5000 bottles are produced and that bottling takes place exclusively in extraordinary vintages, it is clear that there are few enthusiasts who ensure this taste experience.
It is certainly the most representative wine of the Cahors appellation, with an aging potential of almost 50 years.
It has an intense, deep color and the nose is immediately very complex, with elegant notes of red fruit (primarily currant), mint and licorice, together with balsamic nuances and hints of smoked. In the mouth it is refined, mineral and complex, with splendidly silky tannins and very long persistence.
A truly remarkable wine!
